In 1986, our representative office in Hong Kong was established to extend sales promotion as well as after-sales service in China
and other Asian markets. In 1999, the representative office was incorporated as STAR SEIKI (HONG KONG) CO.,LTD.
China Plant and Shen-zhen Service Center in Shen-zhen were also established.
In 2001, STAR SEIKI (SHANGHAI) CO.,Ltd. was established.
Even after this establishment, we have aggressively opened our sales branch offices one after another in China.
With these companies and sales branch offices newly established,
we have successfully expanded a beautifully combined network of its production, sales and after-sales service to every part of China,
responding to a really wide variety of needs from customers in many countries including local Chinese companies.
As the result of these business efforts, we are continuously increasing the production amount of machines every year as a total FA system manufacturer.

STAR SEIKI opened its representative office in Shanghai in February 1998 for the purpose of providing its users with technical advice on
maintenance and information on new products.
In April, 2001, the representative office was incorporated and become independent.
By this, all activities including the sales have been expanded.
Now, General Manager was transferred from Japan and recognized the company structure that strengthen the sales and technical support systems.

STAROBO ROBOT CO., LTD. was first established in 1987 as a wholly owned subsidiary of STAR SEIKI to serve as STAR SEIKI’s production, sales,
installation and maintenance service base in Taiwan.
Its name was changed to the present STAR SEIKI TAIWAN, INC.
in February 1997 and its sales and service area has been expanded from Taiwan to the neighboring markets.
Sales are basically done via its sales representatives,
but all the installation and maintenance works are essentially done by STAR SEIKI TAIWAN, INC.
STAR SEIKI TAIWAN, INC. has a strong organizational structure with its base in Taipei and a branch office in Tainan and Taichun.
It concentrates on sales of FA equipment and secondary processing machines, the demand of which has been increasing recently.
It has experienced sales and maintenance staff including Japanese staff, and is highly valued in and out of Taiwan.

STAR SEIKI established its SINGAPORE BRANCH OFFICE in June 1990 in order to cover the Singaporean and Malaysian markets,
which were the largest in Southeast Asia. It was then incorporated in January 1992 and changed to STAR SEIKI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.
It has a strong structure so that it can respond to users’ needs for prompt maintenance service by having some automatic unloader as
well as spare parts in stock. The SINGAPORE OFFICE is highly valued by our Indian users as well as those of Singapore and Malaysia
for its timely and good service in response to its user’s needs.
The Singapore office staffs are comprised of sales-engineers and secretaries.
The Managing Director Mr. Hao Lin Lam is Chinese, fluent in Japanese, as he worked at the headquarters in Japan for 5 years.

The Malaysian market was previously covered by our subsidiary in Singapore. However,
in order to strengthen maintenance service in Malaysia, which is one of the largest industrial areas in Southeast Asia
with many companies operating there, we established the KUALA LUMPUR BRANCH OFFICE under our subsidiary in Singapore in March 1993.
Located near Shah Alam, one of the largest industrial districts in Malaysia, they can work closely with their users and respond to their needs promptly.
Manager Mr. Sai Lum Wan, with his experience of working at a molding plant,
is highly valued by our users for his good service based on his knowledge and experience in molding as well as in our automatic unloader.
