STAR AUTOMATION, INC. (SAI) was established in the suburb of Milwaukee,
Wisconsin, in 1991, as a wholly owned subsidiary of STAR SEIKI to serve as a production and sales base for STAR SEIKI in North America.
SAI covers the whole North American market, with its sales basically done through the sales representatives assigned to respective territories.
All STAR SEIKI product sales as well as installation and maintenance for the North American users are basically done by SAI in America.
The machines contracted and purchased in Japan will also be installed and maintained by SAI, as requested by STAR SEIKI.
Even for such machines, however, if they are of special types or if requested by customers, supervisors may be sent from STAR SEIKI for their installation.
Most of SAI’s technical staff are experienced in dealing with robots and automated machines and are highly respected in and out of North America for their skills in dealing with both hardware and software.
The office and plant of 35,548 square feet are well equipped with the latest processing machines and testing equipment.
SAI, headquartered in the suburb of Milwaukee, has nine branch office in North America.

Sales and service for our Indiana users were taken care of by DEtrOIT OFFICE before.
However, SAI opened a branch office in Evansville, Indiana in April 1997, to respond to the rapidly increasing number of users in Indiana recently.
At present, there are two staff members in the Evansville office, one Japanese technical manager Mr. Toshiyuki Kobayashi, and one American field service personnel.
